OGT WEB COACH - Distance Learning

OGT Web Coach is a test preparation platform designed specifically for students who are preparing to take the Ohio Graduation Test. OGT Web Coach is a product of Key Educational Enrichment Services (KEES) based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Their Request: KEES asked us to work with their engineering specialists to develop a web based testing platform that would allow graduating high school students to practice tests on the subjects that would make-up their final graduation exams.

Our Solution: In working with KEES we developed a testing platform rich with student, teacher and school administrator features and functionality. We first designed OGT Web Coach to appeal to the high school student. A Username / Password login controls user access and dynamically presents the portions of the OGT Web Coach platform based on user type. Students take practice tests on subjects of their choice at their own pace while their results and development is tracked on their personal home page. Teachers and administrators follow the progress of students through their respective consoles.

User psychology was a primary factor in the development of OGT Web Coach. Everything from the appearance, to the testing process, to how results and success would be presented to the students that use the platform were carefully considered.
